HiYou for Business uses four familiar messaging concepts. Their availability below reflects the current ChatX API.
Message category
Authentication
For one-time passcodes, login codes, and account verification messages. Structured content — body, footer, and an OTP button — no approval step.
Message category
Utility
For requested or expected updates such as order, payment, delivery, and appointment information. Send free-form text tagged with this category — no approval step.
Conversation reply
Service
Not a send category. A live business can send free-form text to a customer who actively follows it.
Message category
Marketing
For promotions, offers, and awareness messages. Plain text, or structured content with a header, buttons, or a product carousel — no audience or campaign tooling, and no approval step.
Choose the right path
Send marketing, authentication, or utility messages with the matching category — there is no approval step. Service is a separate follower-scoped free-form messaging feature, not a send category.
